For day-to-day cleaning, use a brush cleaner to disinfect your brushes.

For intense washing, use a brush cleanser and follow the instructions on the label. 

Either of these are available at stores such as Priceline or Mecca Cosmetica/Maxima.

However you choose to clean your brushes, ensure you squeeze as much moisture out of the bristles and lay flat to dry. 

This will assist in minimising water dripping from the bristles into the handles of your brushes.
